PolskiThere is a special place in our campus neighbourhood, a small branch of Warsaw Animal Shelter (called “Ochota na Kota”), which serves as a temporary home for abandoned cats and an adoption centre. We have many cat lovers in our Team, so on European Neighbours’ Day, we visited shelter in our neighbourhood and donated cat food and toys. It was a great opportunity to talk to the animal caretaker about everyday routine, the cat’s well-being and health problems. It was very interesting and motivating for us; after all, our pets also suffer from bacterial infections, which we are trying to address in our research. “
